Covid-19 Statement

I am sure you all know of the situation regarding Covid-19 the effects it is having not just in the UK but around the world. This situation is changing very rapidly on a daily basis and has increasingly widespread consequences. One of these consequences is now the widespread closure of mosques and churches as mentioned in the government advice given. https://youtu.be/Ubm2aLpmLwU

As of today (19th March 2020), we will suspend all church services and events (except our Food Service which has changed format. We are now delivering food to those who request food bags. See our home page). Our church office is also closed and I will be working from home.

This is an unprecedented time we are living in but we should be anxious for nothing but with prayer, supplication and thanksgiving, make our request known to God (Phil.4:6). Our Trustees and Elders want you to know that we as a church will do everything we can to provide practical, emotional and spiritual support for all those in our congregation and community. We place our trust in Jesus Christ Who is our Rock and will continue to seek to demonstrate God’s love and bring a message of hope to our community.

Our Elders had a Zoom meeting and we have discussed ways in which we can respond to the impact of Covid-19 including things we can do to encourage, pray and fellowship with each other. One of the things we want to do is set up a church Wats App group. Pastor Joy will be overseeing this. Please give her your email address as soon as you can or better still, send it to the email address below. We will then add you to the church group when it is set up.

Over the next few days we will be sending out more information on how we can enhance fellowship. Our church building may be closed but we (the true church) are very much alive. Stay in the courts (presence) of our God and talk to him (prayer). Remember, He is with you to hear you and comfort you in this trying time.

In the meantime, perhaps you could consider:
a) Is there someone in your street who needs your help?
b) Is there someone you could ring up and encourage?
c) What gifts might you be able to offer to our church and community at this time? If you wish to give financially, our account details are

Living Waters Christian Centre - Account: 20031739 - Sort Code: 20-49-81

If you find yourself in difficulty of any sort, please don’t hesitate to be in touch. We are the body of Christ and we stand together. Please email lwcc1uk@outlook.com We will do our best assist you.

The Lord bless and keep you, Pastor David Brown
